TapDL lets you save public videos and images from social platforms. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

• Links you paste. We use them only to find the media you asked for. Results are cached for about 15 minutes, then deleted.
• Downloads. Files pass through our server to your device. We don’t store them.
• IP address. We keep a scrambled (hashed) version for one hour to apply fair-use limits.
• Recent links. Saved only in your own browser. You can clear them any time.

Cookies

If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics to measure visits and Google AdSense to show ads. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked first. If you reject, these services run in a cookieless, limited mode. You can change your choice by clearing this site’s cookies.

Other services

We use Cloudflare to protect and speed up the site, and Google for analytics and ads. They process data under their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You can ask us to access or delete data about you by emailing [email protected]. Because we keep almost nothing, there is usually nothing to delete.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13.
