How to download Bluesky videos
- Copy the post link. In the Bluesky app, tap Share under the post and choose Copy link to post. On the web, copy the address of the post page.

Why Bluesky videos are hard to save
Bluesky doesn’t store videos as a single file. It streams them in small pieces (HLS), so there’s no simple file to right-click and save. TapDL collects the pieces and joins them into one MP4 that plays everywhere, with the sound included.

Bluesky link formats
Post links look like bsky.app/profile/name.bsky.social/post/…. Custom domain handles (bsky.app/profile/yourname.com/post/…) work the same way. A link to a whole profile isn’t enough: copy the link of the post that has the video.

- The post was deleted, or the account was deactivated.
- The account limits who can see its posts when logged out.
