Why not just screenshot?
Screenshots crop the photo, add TikTok’s buttons and captions, and lower the quality. TapDL saves the original images exactly as they were uploaded, in full resolution, with nothing on top.

Photo posts have links like tiktok.com/@name/photo/…. Short share links (vm.tiktok.com) work too. If you paste a normal video link, TapDL saves the video instead.

- The account is private, or the post was deleted.
- The post is a video, not a photo slideshow: use the TikTok video downloader.
- The link is to a profile rather than one post.
